6th IBAF Women's Baseball World Cup 2014 in Miyazaki- About the officials and group divisions

The executive committee of the 6th IBAF Women's Baseball World Cup 2014 Tournament in Miyazaki met for the first time on April 7, 2014 and made arrangements so the event could run smoothly.
Among those were deciding on the tournament officials and executive committee. Chairman of the board of directors of the Fukuoka Softbank Hawks, Inc., Sadaharu Oh, assumed office as tournament advisor.
Also, the 8 countries and regions participating in the tournament have been placed in groups as follows:

Japan, Australia, Venezuela, Hong Kong |
| Group B |
United States, Canada, Chinese Taipei, Netherlands |
Japan is in the same group as Australia, ranked 3rd in the world and Venezuela, the strongest team in South or Central America and ranked 5th in the world.
