A collaboration between Japan's national baseball team "Samurai Japan" and the currently broadcasting TBS drama "Roosevelt Game" (Sundays at 21:00) is in the works.
"Roosevelt Game" is a drama about the Aoshima Factory's baseball team seeking to compete in the inter-city baseball tournament while facing the threat of being abolished, and Technical Director Yoshitaka Katori will be appearing in an upcoming episode as himself.
Technical Director Yoshitaka Katori's shoot was held at a Tokyo stadium on May 19th, and he performed smoothly, saying "I was nervous, but it was a very good experience."
In addition, between shoots, he would give coaching to the Aoshima Factory Baseball Team, such as by playing catch with Asuka Kudo, who plays Kazuya Okihara.
Technical Director Yoshitaka Katori will appear in episode 6 (broadcast on June 1st).
